Job Title: PCB Inspector
Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a PCB Inspector where youll apply your expertise to ensure quality in circuit card assemblies. You will work with a variety of technologies in a secure and expanding facility. This position is based in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing environment in Oldsmar, FL.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect solder and conformal coatings of circuit card assemblies according to IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Utilize predetermined methods, inspection operations, and prescribed specifications to conduct inspections.
- Incorporate instructions, drawings, or inspection instructions and checklists in the inspection process.
- Use various measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales to inspect assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications.
- Ensure compliance with IPC and related reference documents and standards.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 2 years of experience inspecting solder connections on surface mount and plated through-hole components.
- Experience with coating of printed wiring boards in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Strong soldering experience on circuit cards, including rework and familiarity with terms like ball grid array (BGA).
- Proficiency in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
- IPC-610 and J-STD experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Detail-oriented and proficient with personal computers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects.
- Experience with electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools and microscopes.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, regulated, and safety-conscious manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, FL. The environment is climate controlled, with air conditioning and well-spaced workstations. Employees have the option to work on the 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, or the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays scheduled off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
