UnspecifiedBased in Singapore and reporting to the Associate Director, Repair and Overhaul Customer Solutions (ROCS), The Customer Event Manager will act as a single point of contact for customers within the Asia Pacific region whose engines have been routed to the Singapore Service Centre facility for repair or overhaul, or to another facility within the P&WC Service Centre network facility, ensuring the highest quality of service, communication and product is provided in the most cost effective manner.
What You Will Do
Manage in-house and remote engine events for customers within the Asia Pacific region, all P&WC engine models/CSC event liaison.
Ensure customer requirements and expectations are effectively communicated to the facility’s representatives in preparation for engine (or engine module) induction.
Review cost estimates, and as required, evaluate alternatives and develop solutions to reduce cost with Market specialist.
Provide accurate, timely status reports and ensure excellent communication with customers on all matters.
Ensure that all customer queries are addressed and responded to in a timely manner.
Participate in regular meetings with the network in regards to engine WIP updates and status
Liaise with customers to manage a 3-month engine shop visit forecast, for all scheduled and unscheduled shop events.
Usage of tools such as SAP, CRM and SharePoint.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within the region.
Lead customer visits within the facility as required.
Actively participate in cost reduction initiatives and/or other strategic initiative projects.
Any other tasks as requested by ROCS leadership team.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor degree in Engineering or a Marketing (sales and services) discipline.
Minimum of 5 year experience in relevant aerospace industry, preferred by which 3 years should be in customer service or account management.
Proficiency in Asian languages such as Hindi, Mandarin and/or Bahasa to interact effectively with Regional internal and external stakeholders.
Possess a mature disposition, keen business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Possess skills to assess customer requirement opportunities effectively, forge long-term business relationships with the company’s key customers and have highly developed written and verbal communication abilities.
