Legal Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role
In your role as the company’s in-house employment counsel, you will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of the company’s HR functions (including payroll and compliance, recruitment, organizational development and compensation and benefits and HR supplier engagements).
Responsibilities
- Providing cross-border legal advice to the business on a variety of employment law issues and HR supplier contracting matters.
- Drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and employment law documents of varying complexity.
- Managing specialized external counsel.
- Act as the main point of contact for the Wizz Air HR regional managers.
- The role might entail approximately 2 days of international travel per month
Experience
3-5+ years overall working experience with at least 2+ years post-qualification experience, of which at least 1 year at a reputable law firm’s employment or labour practice group
Hard skills
Familiarity with regulation on labour and employment matters, including the employment law aspect of transactions and intra-group reorganizations
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Law degree
Language
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
