PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry. This full-time, 4-month consulting opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality for advanced aircraft systems and components that shape the future of aviation.
About the RoleAs an Inspector, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring precision, safety, and reliability in aerospace manufacturing. Supporting Collins Aerospace’s Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations (ALCI) value stream, you’ll perform critical inspections that uphold customer expectations and regulatory standards. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to the success of next-generation aircraft interiors.
What You’ll DoPerform mechanical and cosmetic inspections to ensure products meet quality and engineering specifications.
Conduct first article inspections and support new product introductions.
Inspect incoming materials, assemblies, and returned goods for compliance and quality.
Document and report non-conformances, escalating major issues to leadership when necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accuracy and organization in all inspection documentation and quality records.
Required QualificationsProven inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and numerical communication abilities.
Familiarity with quality methodologies such as 8D reporting, 5 Whys, and corrective action reports.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team setting.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $27.28 per hour
