SureFly

SureFly is an electronic (solid state) magneto replacement. The SureFly Ignition Module replaces one magneto - generally the left or impulse-coupled/starting magneto on most aircraft. FAA Certification is underway and expected by the end of 2017 if not sooner. Pre-Certification units (for Experimental aircraft only) are available today for both 4- and 6-Cylinder Lycoming and Continental engines. Replacing just one magneto simultaneously cuts customer's magneto maintenance & associated costs in half, but also provide the full benefits of an electronic ignition including improved fuel efficiency due to intelligent timing advance up to manufacturers' maximums using existing aviation plugs, wires & "slick" style harnesses.
