Walt's Avionics is a new and growing FAA-certified Repair Station supporting general and corporate aviation. We specialize in 91.411 and 91.413 pitot-static and transponder tests, along with full-service avionics installations, troubleshooting, custom wiring, and cockpit restoration.

We are building a small, focused team of professionals who take pride in their work and want to help shape the future of modern avionics service. We are looking for all ranges of experience!
Job Responsibilities
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft avionics systems
• Use CAD and computer-based tools – SolidWorks, AutoCad, Light Burn, etc.
• Perform 91.411 and 91.413 inspections and functional testing
• Fabricate and install custom wiring harnesses, connectors, and components
• Understand and work from wiring and installation drawings
• Assist with software configuration and programming of avionics systems
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and ensure quality workmanship
• Work independently while coordinating with inspectors and shop leadership
Requirements
• Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive without constant supervision
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Comfortable using computer-based tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined areas
Preferred (but not required)
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Familiarity with pitot-static, transponder, and RVSM systems
• Prior experience at an FAA Part 145 Repair Station
• Background in panel design, aircraft electrical systems, or avionics troubleshooting
