Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Avionics Technician performs avionics line maintenance and installations, ensuring that all repair and installation tasks are completed efficiently within the repair stations jurisdiction. The role requires excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with maintenance technicians and customers.
Responsibilities- Perform avionics line maintenance and installations.
- Communicate regularly with maintenance technicians to discuss maintenance issues.
- Read, understand, and execute maintenance manual procedures; research wire prints and order parts.
- Ensure tasks are completed within the allotted time.
- Verify that repairs and installations are inspected by the Quality Assurance Department when applicable.
- Handle all parts properly during the repair process and after completion.
- Report to the Avionics Manager if a project is not going to be completed on time.
- Interact and communicate with customers as needed.
- Work overtime when required to complete job assignments.
- Maintain the shop premises in a clean and orderly manner and ensure proper equipment storage after use.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
Essential Skills- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals and wire prints.
- Experience in avionics installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency with avionics test equipment and inspection tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P or Avionics certification preferred but not required.
- 5 to 7 years of related field experience.
- Ability to pass FAA drug and alcohol program and random testing.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to study and pass exams on Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, Training Manual, FAA FAR’s, and RVSM requirements.
- Experience with Learjet, Gulfstream, and Citation is a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
