Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob DescriptionAs an Avionics Technician, you will work with a fleet of CRJ/700/900/Dash 8/Classics, focusing primarily on the Dash-8. We seek a seasoned technician ready to contribute immediately within our facility. You will be responsible for installing and servicing avionics parts, including wiring components, crimping, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting equipment. Additionally, you may engage in bench work as required. Specific training on the aircraft will be provided.
Responsibilities- Install and service avionics parts in the aircraft.
- Wire components, crimp, splice, test, install, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Perform bench work as needed.
- Work primarily on Dash-8 aircraft with opportunities to engage with a variety of other aircraft.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft maintenance and avionics systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair avionics equipment.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience if not licensed.
- Experience with Heavy or line maintenance on Dash-8, CRJ, or Q400.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- ACA, M2 license, or AME license.
- Experience with Westjet aircraft is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a hangar, working among a team of 5-20 AMEs, alongside Structures and Mechanics teams. The position reports to a crew leader. Standard shift hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, with potential coverage on weekends. Flexibility for an afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm) may be required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $55.00/hr.
