This is a “hands on” position that requires strong computer and technical troubleshooting skills. This position will be required to configure, install new computers and assist the user in adapting to their new system as smoothly as possible. Coordinate the timely and effective repair of computers, printers etc. Support and troubleshoot LAN network infrastructure, wireless data networking systems, servers, power and cooling, mobile devices as well as the day to day operations at the office. Must be able to maintain computer asset management and imaging, print management infrastructure and software management solutions.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in 3D CAD drafting, industrial grade CNC machinery operation, multisystem integration, and the ability to design one-off prototypes. Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D CAD Drafting: Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using software such as SolidWorks and Fusion 360. Ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • CNC Machinery Operation: Operate industrial grade CNC and 3D printing machinery to manufacture precision components, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the production process.
  • Multisystem Integration: Proficient in seamlessly integrating robotic components into mechanical devices to enhance automation processes and ensure efficient and reliable system operation.
  • Prototype Design: Develop one-off prototypes for aviation testing and research purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and build prototypes.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Participate in aviation test and development activities, including the setup, monitoring, and data collection during testing phases. Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for component and prototype construction, considering factors like strength, weight, and durability.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all designs and prototypes adhere to aviation industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, test procedures, and results. Prepare technical reports and presentations as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance and technicians in a dynamic team environment to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges and design issues, proposing effective solutions to meet project objectives.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
  • Experience with industrial grade CNC machinery operation, programming, and CAM software.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation and aerospace engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory but beneficial):

  • Foundational understanding of coding in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
