Based on a full-time, 6-month consulting engagement, this role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy and driving operational efficiency. With a steady weekday schedule and no material handling responsibilities, this position is perfect for a data-savvy professional who thrives in logistics and process optimization.
What You’ll Do:Manage inventory control functions, including stockroom oversight and material distribution analysis
Plan and schedule cycle counts, organize recounts, and reconcile discrepancies with precision
Respond to internal and external audits, ensuring all inventory data meets compliance and quality standards
Collaborate closely with shift supervisors to identify, resolve, and prevent inventory issues
Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal teams to ensure alignment on supply requirements
Monitor and manage the inventory adjustment report and flag inconsistencies for resolution
Analyze data and make recommendations to improve inventory tracking and reporting systems
What You Bring to the Team:Required Qualifications:Proven experience in inventory analysis, control, or materials management
Strong skills in planning and executing cycle counts and inventory audits
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline
Comfortable working in a structured environment with union-based operations (no material handling)
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of inventory compliance standards in regulated industries

Pay Details: $43.88 per hour
