Job Responsibilities:
Resolute ISR is seeking an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic with an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate to join our team in Howell, MI. This position involves the fabrication, assembly, modification, and repair of aircraft sheet metal and structural components in support of UAS and manned aircraft programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong structural repair and metalworking skills and thrive in a hands-on, high-performance maintenance environment
- Perform installation, modification, and repair of aircraft sheet metal components, sub-assemblies, and structures.
- Fabricate replacement parts using sheet metal forming, bending, cutting, and riveting techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and structural repair manuals (SRMs).
- Carry out structural inspections and identify damage, corrosion, or fatigue-related issues.
- Repair or replace damaged skins, frames, stringers, spars, ribs, and bulkheads as required.
- Install rivets, fasteners, and other hardware using proper tools and torque specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, company maintenance manuals, and engineering instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA to verify structural conformity and airworthiness.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain records in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
