Join our team to assemble and modify aircraft parts and components, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly. You will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting malfunctions with or without power applied to the aircraft. Additionally, you will access and reinstall aircraft components as necessary and perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and modify aircraft parts and components.
• Diagnose and correct any malfunction or deficiency in aircraft systems.
• Access and reinstall aircraft components that obstruct task performance.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.

• Experience in aircraft maintenance and aviation maintenance.
• Ability to repair and maintain military aircraft.
• Familiarity with 8610-2 documents.
• Possession of A&P Certification with at least 2 years of aircraft maintenance/systems experience.

• Motivation to achieve an A&P license in a 6-week fast track program.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work within a non-climate controlled service center in Wichita, KS, where customers walk the floor. Various shifts are available, including 1st (6:42AM-3:12PM), 2nd (3:42PM-11:12PM), 3rd (11:12PM-6:42AM), and 4th (weekends) Fri-Sun; 5AM-5PM. Dress comfortably in jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
