Role OverviewAs the Component Repair Operations Leader, you will manage operations within a production facility to achieve defined targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This role requires moderate autonomy and operational judgment, with significant input into priorities. You will lead a team of salaried employees and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position on the 1st shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations to meet targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure continuous business improvement aligned with benchmarks and standards.
- Lead and develop a team of salaried employees, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Contribute to strategy and policy development within the area of responsibility.
- Use technical expertise and data analysis to solve moderately complex problems.
- Act as a resource for colleagues and lead small projects with moderate risks.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They are analytical, results-driven, and capable of leading programs and projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience).
- Significant experience in Manufacturing & Operation Management.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects and resolve problems.
- Established project management skills.
- Knowledge of best practices and awareness of technical developments in the field.
