Summary of Essential Duties
  • Manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance for assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with 14 CFR regulations, FAA directives, OEM guidance, and Company policies.

  • Ensure continuous airworthiness by researching and monitoring permanent aircraft records, computerized maintenance tracking programs, FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Manufacturer/Customer Service Bulletins.

  • Maintain working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), OSHA, IS-BAO requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Comply with Company procedures outlined in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Maintenance Procedures Manual (MPM), and other approved SOPs.

  • Maintain a safe work environment, enforce proper use of PPE, and report/mitigate unsafe conditions.

  • Perform and oversee quality maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections in accordance with Company, FAA, and industry standards, with the goal of maximum reliability and aircraft availability.

  • Manage inspection requirements in accordance with CFR 91.409 or other approved inspection programs.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assigned aircraft systems/components.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of aircraft logbook entries and permanent records.

  • Update, monitor, and interface with computerized maintenance tracking systems.

  • Oversee maintenance planning, inspection scheduling, repair/modification oversight, and procurement of required parts and materials.

  • Ensure maintenance events are scheduled and executed to minimize operational impact and maximize fleet readiness.

  • Provide recommendations for aircraft modifications, upgrades, and reliability improvements.

  • Obtain vendor proposals, establish contracts, review invoices, and manage all financial activity related to assigned aircraft (PO logs, reconciliations, and approvals).

  • Oversee and coordinate hangar operations, including safety, hazmat handling, PPE use, and facility/tooling readiness.

  • Supervise assigned internal maintenance personnel and oversee performance of third-party maintenance vendors.

  • Provide clear and timely status updates to senior management and customers on daily, weekly, and project-level progress.

  • Ensure accuracy of timekeeping, attendance, personal leave, and customer billing tasks.

  • Submit engineering requests as required and recommend specialized training for personnel.

  • Perform additional projects, assignments, and responsibilities as directed by management.


Physical Requirements
  • Use of hands for handling, reaching, and communication (talking/hearing).

  • Frequent standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.

  • Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted; assistance required for heavier objects.

  • Occasional climbing of ladders, stairs, or high work stands.

  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

  • May be required to work in confined spaces.


Work Environment
  • Hangar and ramp environment; occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

  • Noise levels range from moderate to high depending on aircraft operations.

  • Possible exposure to fuel fumes, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.

  • Temperature extremes may occur depending on season and location.

Job Requirements:
  • Be at least 23 years of age.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 65, 91, 121, and/or 135.
  • Be highly knowledgeable of aircraft manufacturer maintenance manual, inspection and maintenance tasks, applicable portions of the Company's manuals, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) desired
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Must understand, read, and write English.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Able to pass a required 10 year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. Competency with internet navigation is also required.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
