Boeing Defence Australia is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR Operations team, based in our Brisbane office on a temporary 12-month contract.
As a HR Generalist you will work in a collaborative team, in partnership with the HR Business Partners to provide tier-one HR support and advisory services, throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline managers and employees with timely and accurate HR advice relating to HR policy, procedures and processes
- Work in partnership with HR Business Partners to support the employee lifecycle
- Partner with the broader HR team to deliver timely HR Services and support
- Maintain employee data integrity in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy of employee records including managing employee movements in the HRIS, preparation of contracts and a range of letters for managers and employees
- Liaise with Payroll to ensure data integrity and consistency between HR and Payroll systems
- Administer HR data and records management, ensuring adherence to processes, audits, quality standards and legal requirements
- Analyse data and action cyclical HR reporting requirements
- Ensure continuous improvement on HR Operations systems and processes
About you
- HR, Business or related qualification at a degree level desirable but not essential
- Min. 2 years working in a similar HR Coordinator and/or Advisory role in a fast-paced environment
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- An innovative HR practitioner with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience in developing relationships at various levels within a complex matrix business
- Able to multitask, organize, prioritize and structure tasks and information
- Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong computer literacy, particularly using Microsoft suites including Excel
- Experienced in an HRIS particularly Aurion or Work Day
