The Dumont JETS division is the premier Part 135 aircraft management and charter provider for both business and personal travel. Our robust fleet of 20 aircraft are supported by our team’s longstanding aviation knowledge and experience. Dumont MRO is our FAA Part 145 repair station offering fast maintenance, high quality workmanship, and unparalleled customer service. Volo Direct, the aircraft parts division, provides customers with the quick service and affordable aircraft parts, backed with exceptional customer support from our team.
 
Dumont JETS is currently seeking a full-time Materials Coordinator to support our Charter JETS division based in the New Castle, Delaware facility.
This position will be responsible for over-seeing the day shift operations of all JETS related material planning, purchasing, shipping and tracking.

Responsibilities
·Reports directly to the Materials Manager
·Responsible for the supervision of the AOG Materials Program
·Maintain a readiness posture to be immediately responsive to AOG events
·Receive and process all AOG material requirements in an expeditious manner
·Source and procurement of aircraft parts from quality approved vendors
·Coordinate the shipment and delivery of all parts required
·Ensure the return of all Exchange Cores, Loaners and Unused parts
·Provide turn-over information for the evening shift Materials Coordinator
·Assist Accounting with closing out parts and freight invoices for each AOG event
·Support Maintenance Control with parts planning for all MEL Due Dates and Scheduled Maintenance Events
·Continuously review AOG Materials Program for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost
·Develop and implement procedures for interfacing with all JETS departments
·Other duties as assigned or delegated by the Materials Manager

 
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
·Previous aviation procurement experience is required
·Ability to utilize information provided in Illustrated Parts Catalogs and/or Maintenance Manuals is strongly desired
·Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve
·Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
·Consistent follow-up practices
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy
·Solid communication skills, verbal and written
·Strong computer skills, especially in inventory management systems
·Must have the flexibility to work over-time when necessary
·Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
·Ability to become forklift certified (training provided)
