Job Title: Flight Support Assistant
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and proactive Flight Support Assistant to join our team, focusing on supporting daily drone operations and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. This role involves handling equipment, monitoring airspace, assisting with warehouse tasks, and engaging with the community.
Responsibilities
- Support daily drone operations by handling and organizing equipment including batteries and related components.
- Monitor airspace in the area of operations and report any potential hazards or obstacles.
- Assist with basic warehouse tasks including inventory management and package preparation.
- Execute standard operating procedures while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
- Engage positively with community members and address basic inquiries about our operations.
- Document and report operational activities using standard templates and tools.
Essential Skills- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with basic documentation and reporting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, or drone operations.
- Knowledge of aviation terminology and regulations.
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification.

Work Environment
The role requires physical activity, including the ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. Work may be conducted outdoors in various weather conditions. Flexibility is essential, as shifts can include nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required up to 25 of the time. Compliance with FAA safety and export control regulations is necessary, and the role is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety-sensitive functions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
